Due to the continued success of the Richard Phillips
Cookery School at Chapel Down, we are pleased to announce
some further dates.
15th June, 14th September, 19th October, 16th November
(Christmas Special), 14th December (Christmas
Special), 18th January 2010, 22nd February 2010.
Richard Phillips at Chapel Down boasts a state of the
art kitchen and is located five minutes from the ancient
Wealden town of Tenterden and is set in the idyllic
surroundings of the Chapel Down vineyard.
The new format Cookery Schools give options to novice
cooks right through to more experienced chefs and are
an ideal present for a loved one – be that friend, family
or colleague, or why not treat yourself?

What better present than a day’s tuition with award
winning celebrity chef Richard Phillips.
The beginners’ course
An opportunity to view Richard creating a typical three
course meal and learn the secrets of preparing a stress
free dinner party. The day begins at 9.30am for coffee
and pastries, includes a light lunch with wine and offers
guests the opportunity to interact with Richard, ask
questions and understand the process a top chef employs
to create a superb meal. Only £85 per head.
The intermediate course
An opportunity to work directly with Richard in a small
group of only 4 people. This offers guests the chance
to test their culinary skills and get Richard’s advice
on how to prepare that sumptuous feast. Includes a Q&A
session with Richard, wine tasting of the award winning
Chapel Down wines, lunch with wines to match each course
at the exclusive chef’s table and a selection of Chapel
Down wines to take away. The day begins again at 9.30am
with coffee and pastries. £245 per head.
